Outdoor activity ideas – collect different forest items and place them in a dish of water to freeze overnight outside, chalk draw a target on a wall to throw snowball at and count the ones that stick, look for animal foot prints and expand the conversation with curious questions, fill water balloons with coloured water to freeze over night and on the following day pull off the water balloon covering to watch the coloured water melt into the snow.
