At our centre we are more than happy to share our day, photos, policies, resources etc… with our children, families, and community members. Through our face book page, videos, texting and e-mail technology, seamlessly we can successfully stay connected.

In the New Year of 2021 we are going to explore and experiment with the idea of parents virtually – iPad technology, connecting with us, children and educators, during our preschool day by engaging with our “Parent Sharing Time”. An opportunity for parents to volunteer 30 minutes of their time to either read a story, show and tell with a family pet, or visit us with a new sibling… it will be a surprise for us all as the parent will reveal what they will be sharing with us on their volunteer day. So exciting!!! I am very much looking forward to this new adventure and I truly feel the connection between child, family and educators will become stronger and memorable. I wonder in my own world of childhood memories and reflect on the great experiences I had at my play centre in New Zealand – petting baby puppies, a dad playing his guitar while we song ‘If you are happy and you know it”. I hope to give our centres children memorable moments they to can cherish when they became an adult reflecting back on their childhood memories.
